Nalc Pay Award 2024/24 Orlando. The national association of local councils (nalc) has published a new employment briefing on the national salary award for clerks and other employees. Local government pay claim for 2024/25.
The union representing council chiefs has demanded “the same” pay award for its members as others in local government, warning that chiefs’ pay has fallen in real. In february 2023 the national employers offered council staff a £1,925 pay increase which equated to a 9.42% pay rise for the lowest paid who earned at the time.
